Ok, the very short version of a very long story. I'm putting my Recluse and my ED Karda up for sale. Lets just say this has nothing to do with wanting to sell a knife, and everything to do with wanting to be able to buy more knives in the future, and lots to do with the worst winter I've ever lived through, and a LP shortage...

Pay pal pref or USPS money order will work. Price covers USPS Priority shipping in the continental US. Must be 18 to buy. Laws concerning this type of knife in your area are your responsibility.

The Recluse.
Tuxedo, black G10 with a mosaic pin. Tapered 5/32 O-1, convex grind
Asking SOLD

Has been used a good bit, but never abused. General knife use, a bit of food prep, some whittling, some rope cutting, but no real heavy use.

The EDK.
Black on Black G10 with a blue pin stripe. SFT. 3/32 O-1, convex
Asking SOLD

Has been lightly used. Slicing cheese, cutting up a few vegetables and sausages. No hard use.

Just to throw it out there, I had some confusion going on when I priced the Recluse. Considering the list price was $265.00, a little lower than I had in my head at the time I posted, and that it does have a fairly heavy patina that some may not like, I'm lowering the price to $225.

There was nothing wrong with the knife, it was fine for what it was. But I had wanted it for a photographic project, and the stainless and maroon just didn't work well for what I was going for. I'll definitely be getting another Sneaky Pete or an Asp later, but in 5/32 and tapered. The full thickness tang was another thing for me as well. I have gotten used to the tapered tangs, so the full thickness tangs feel a bit handle heavy to me now, the 3/16 sure did anyway. I have a mostly tapered 5/32 now, some tapered 1/8, and then one full thickness 1/8. The 1/8 full thickness is fine for me, but the 3/16 full thickness just didn't sit well with me. I did love the handle contours and blade geometry very much, so will definitely revisit that model in a different thickness and in O-1 tool steel.
