Slow start to the year for me, been busy with life, so have not had a chance to get out more blades and more designs. Stay tuned though, I will have a nice Barlow coming up!!
For your consideration I have this fillet blade I just finished. I am not super happy with the finish and will mark down my price because I hit the flats in some areas while buffing the spine, and it fogged my etched log and the flat finish. I also used a different steel pin when pinning the bolsters, because of this I could not make them blend 100%. Nothing huge or impacting the blade, just cosmetic. Otherwise this is one of my ergonomic designs, with nice curves and choil to choke up on the blade
OAL: 9 7/8"
Edge: 5 1/4"
Blade Thickness: .080
Steel: CPM154
Heat Treat: 62
Finish: Flat Grind, hand finished satin flats, Rounded and high polish top spine with jimping, Satin bolsters with polished angles and top,
Handle: Curly Hawaiian Mango with SS bolsters (double pinned)
Sheath: Leather
