The knife: This is a small skinner by Flat Face Knives (a part-time custom maker). Hand-forged 52100 ball bearing steel, triple quenched (per Ed Fowler's instructions), green canvas micarta, copper pins, kydex sheath.
As you can see in the photos (a little hard to capture because of the polish on the blade and bevel), the grind on the presentation side is not perfect. It's a bit wobbly in some places, especially in a small area near the tip. And in a couple spots the blade finish near the bevel is a bit off. The non-presentation side is in great condition though. These imperfections are just aesthetic, and the knife is very functional.
In this day and age, when everybody and their mother has an Izula, why not stand out with a one-of-a-kind custom at a very low price?
Price: $60, I pay PayPal fees and USPS priority shipping.
