This is a new self-defense Pocket Spike made by me, Oklahoma knife and tool maker Bill Goodwin. It is based on the design and function of the yawara, an ancient Japanese fighting/self-defense tool. Handmade from 19th century hardened tool steel. The steel shows age and previous use with genuine patina. Fluted hexagon design. Measures 7 3/8" total length, including the genuine black palm wood pommel. The tool is solid steel. The original maker mark reads, "STEEL". It is etched with my maker mark, "BG". Comes with a custom wet-formed leather slip sheath. Great defense tool in an emergency situation. Perfect for carrying in a pocket, backpack, glove-box, purse or handbag. Handmade from reclaimed material. No two are exactly alike. Made in U.S.A. SOLD $80 shipped anywhere within the 50 US states and its protectorates. No international shipping.
