Good morning BF,
If you’re a vintage MT collector. You know what this is...
A Vero Beach medium UDT, aka MUDT, coined the UDT 2000, cleverly enough, because they were manufactured in y2k. This one was produced in April, with a 2.75” blade.
This is a tough to find model/year.
Here’s the catch:
*this example does NOT have the pocket clip, as illustrated in the photos. I realize this is a deal killer for some, but others won’t mind getting in touch w/ MT to get a new clip (I have it under good advisement that they can make it happen, & can provide you their direct #, but you’ll have to send it in for some stupid reason, which I think is a risky proposition unless you have them sending it back to an active duty mil/leo, or authorized dealer). The missing pocket clip shows the only sign of wear on the handle, revealing 2 very small scratches where the clip contacted the scale when it was on board, and some marks where the screws held the clip on (see close up pics). Other than that, the knife looks to be immaculate.
Show side scale is beautiful & clean.
Blade is very well centered, & shows no signs of corrosion or scratching (although the finish would hide scratches well anyway).154cm 2.75” Blade appears to still have factory edge, albeit kind of dull, w/ the very point of the tip more blunt than it should be, as photographed.
I’m told by an MT collector from this forum whose input I respect greatly that I should list this one for $SOLD, and accept offers, so that’s what I’ll do.
$SOLD OBO via PP G&S includes shipping to CONUS only via USPS priority.
Does NOT have original box or papers, just the knife
Open to offers & questions/ comments, but please PM them to me or post on my profile for this one
Only an unconditional ‘I’ll take it’ should be posted on this thread to confirm intent to purchase, thanks.
Thank you for reading through all that long winded crap
Cheers!
