Here’s one I forged from 1095. The blade has been clay quenched, but the hamon runs mostly in the fuller, making it a bit difficult to photograph.

The handle is stabilized black walnut. It has nickel silver and micarta spacers with a nickel silver guard.

The sheath is 7-8oz hand tooled leather. The keeper strap holds it securely in place.

Dimensions
Blade - 5 1/4” tip to guard
OAL - 10”

Price - sold. shipped to US.IMG_3251.jpegIMG_3252.jpegIMG_3253.jpegIMG_3254.jpegIMG_3255.jpegIMG_3256.jpeg

Really beautiful knife. That handle shape is my favorite in a chopper for ease of hand grip needed for control. Combining that grip with a non obtrusive double guard and fullered blade makes for a truly beautiful and practical piece. Well done! Whoever got that must be grinning ear to ear.
