Here's one I forged from 80CRV2. The blade is blackened with Superblue from Birchwood Casey. It has been triple tempered and is pretty light in the hand.
The handle is maroon micarta. It turned out a little darker than I expected. The handle is half wrapped with microparacord and has a paracord turk's head knot. The wrap is soaked in epoxy and is incredibly durable. The handle is held in place with pins and G-flex epoxy.
The sheath is oxblood micarta. It has a removable belt loop so it can be worn on either side, or it can be removed completely and strapped to a pack using the webbing slots.
Dimensions
Blade - 9 3/8" tip to knot
OAL - 14 1/2"
Price - sold shipped to US.
I have this posted elsewhere, so the first timestamp saying "I'll take it!!" gets it.
