This is a chopper. I made out of W-2 steel. The blade has been clay quenched for a nice bold hamon. It has been hand polished and etched and sharpened to a razor edge.

The handle is black canvas Micarta with red dyed curly maple. It has been sanded and shaped to fit the hand and allows for a secure purchase.

The sheath is 7–8 ounce hand tooled leather. It has a keeper strap that fasten down to a Sam Brown stud.

Dimensions
Blade - 5 inches cutting edge
OAL- 9 1/2”

I'll tell you what I think; I think it's outstanding, Mr. Bailey! Have you thought about making a larger one?
