This was my hunting knife I bought somewhere in the mid-1980s and it has the four dots on the blade which confirm this, AFAIK.
It has been stored safely for a long time and I've only recently got it out, wiped it with microfiber but did no serious polishing.
It opens normally and locks extremely strong. There are no functional problems I can see.
