Sold! Thanks BF!
This is Fox's Jesper Voxneas-designed Tur folding knife, FX-528 in Elmax steel with carbon fiber scales. I received this in a trade the other day, and while I think it's a beautiful, impressive knife, the handle is just slightly too small for my sasquatch hands (I wear XXXL in gloves). If your hands are in the normal range, it should fit your hand very comfortably.
It came to me in "lightly used" condition with the factory edge. That said, it is not razor-sharp. It could probably do well with a stropping, but I did not do this. Besides that, it is almost flawless. There are several very small blemishes on the knife. I tried very hard to get them to show up in the pictures, but with mixed success. Also, as you'll see in the pictures, the blade is ever-so-slightly uncentered.
It has the box, paper, baby torx wrench, and a quite nice leather zippered pouch. i am asking $165 for this, TYD, Paypal G&S.
Now, as both a buyer and seller, I have always considered it inappropriate to make payments via F&F. However, in light of the new IRS rules, I will accept F&F Paypal as an option, and knock off $15 from the price if you pay that way.
Also, I'm not really looking for a trade right now. I could use some cash due to very very recent life events. But, I'm sure there is the offer I can't refuse.
