SOLDUp for Sale is my Beast Folder. I purchased this new from the Forge about 1 year ago. It has spent most of its life in a drawer and was carried a few times. It may have cut open a couple boxes, but that is about it. It currently has a 24 degreee Bezel and a fresh 1000 grit edge from my Wicked Edge Sharpener.

It is a standard 3 Sisters finish; Bead Blasted and Stone washed. It has a few marks from Carry, but pretty much a standard stone washed finish. Blade has good centering (see pic) and solid lock up. Blade stock thickness is 5/32". I contacted Jim to find out what steel was used, and he said based on the time period I ordered, it would be Elmax. HT by Peter's, Cryo, triple temper. Each R tested @ 60-61

I would like to get SOLD Paypal'd and that will cover USPS Priority Shipping CONUS. This is my 1st sale here, but I have sold about a dozen Highend Dive watches @ WUS over the years. My username is the same over at that forum if you want to look at my history...

Thanks for looking... First I'll take with prompt PM and Payment takes it.

Blade steel? Stock thickness? (some were run at 3/16s, some were 1/8, I'm not sure if he ever ran any in 5/32s)

Unfortunately, I never tracked what steel he was using the month he made mine last Spring. I have sent him an email to see if there is any way to identify the steel type. The Titanium liners measure out at .140, so I would call that 1/8"... The Blade Stock thickness measured at ~.160, so I would call that 5/32"...

Sorry, I am not usually overly concerned with steel type, but if I remember correctly, I think it was S35VN. I am going to go through all of my emails but I am pretty sure I never discussed this with Jim and when it arrived, it was just wrapped in paper and saran wrap...

I will update this post as soon as I hear back from him.

Jim's reply, copied and pasted from my email account...

It is re-claimed beer cans. :)

Elmax. HT by Peter's, Cryo, triple temper. Each R tested @ 60-61. If you take the blade out, you will see the HT test mark.

Jim

I have to trust this response from him, as like I said, I did not ask when I ordered it originally.
