sold - GEC #06 Northfield Pemberton 060119 is a small, single blade interpretation of the classic serpentine whittler design. Outfitted with Natural Bone scales paired with polished/grooved nickel silver bolsters, the compact Wharncliffe blade is the perfect choice for precision detail work.
Purchased new in 2020 and seldom carreid or used. Kept in a felt-pined drawer.
The slim 1095 carbon steel Wharncliffe blade is fully flat ground and traditionally GEC polished for a good-looking, hardworking blade perfect for controlled precision work enhanced by the subtle top swedge. It opens via a single nail nick with a pronounced half stop, confidently snapping into the open position.
The "pinched" Bolster and End Cap are polished nickel silver. The bolster and end cap feature a single groove. The handle scale edges are flush with the outside perimeter making the knife pleasant to hold. The fit and finish are excellent and the blade action is crisp when opening and closing.
Hard to find. Price includes insured shipping (ConUS). PP only, please. Sorry, no trades. sold
Overall length 1.75", blade 1.95" blade thickness 0.07", closed length 2.79", weight 1.2 oz, brass liners, 1095 carbon steel blade, bone handle, made in USA.
