Up for sale is my GEC #14 Lick Creek Barlow manufactured in 2016. The model is 142116. This was a SFO by Charlie at Waynorth. I hate to sell it but I have not used it because it is too good-lookin for me to use. The knife has a nice solid snap and a perfect pull to me - I’d rate it 5.5 to 6 on my scale. It was beautifully crafted by Tidioute Cutlery in my home state of Pennsylvania.
This Lick Creek has Black Cherry Saw Cut Bone handles. I went through a couple of these when they came out trying to find one with the most closely matched ‘saw cut’ and these where the best I found. The single blade is 1095 carbon steel, spear point, and is nicely centered. It is etched with ‘PPP’ on one side and ‘Genuine Lick Creek Barlow’ on the other. There are a few superficial scratches on the bolsters, and blade. A beautiful knife. It comes complete with tube, button and wax wrapping paper.
