The original owner gave a brushed finish to the bolsters and, I believe, sanded the scales slightly so they weren't so slick. I never carried it and I dont really see any use on the blade. but it is not mint due to the brushing. Comes with tube and paper.
*it has been pointed out to me that this knife may have come from the factory this way. I am just not certain.
