I have a GEC Tidioute 2-blade 92 in maroon linen micarta that was originally purchased at the 2013 rendezvous by the previous owner. In looking at the 92 page on the GEC website, it _appears_ (although I could be mistaken) that maroon linen micarta was never offered on a regular production 92.

The knife was used to cut some apples and onions to start a patina, but has not been used other than that. As you can see from the pictures, almost all of the patina has been polished off, but it you were to hold the knife in your hand it would be obvious that this is not a brand new and unused knife. Production quality is very good, but both blades are off center to the shield side.

If you are looking for a pristine knife that looks like it just came off of a custom knifemaker's workbench, please do us both a favor a don't buy this knife. If you are looking for what is apparently a somewhat uncommon edition and don't mind something that has been lightly used, you are in the right place.
