Hi all. Letting go of one of my safe queens/grail knives to fund getting back into shooting.
I bought this in December 2016. It supposedly came from a large collection bought by Greg at TSA Knives. I've only pulled it out of its tube maybe 6 times, then oiled and polished it afterwards.
It's a rare two-bladed 5th anniversary limited edition, #25 of 25. As usual it has 1095 blades, nickel silver bolsters, and ebony wood scales. Now, some possible issues...
Like most of their knives it's not 100% immaculate and perfect out of the factory. One of the pins isn't perfectly round and there are some rough spots on the edge of the back-spacer (see pictures). There are maybe a couple of small spots (one on the nail knick, another one on the spine). And, quite frankly, the smaller blade is so stiff that it kinda scares me whenever I open it.
Also, if you look closely there are fine scratches on the blade and bolsters. I've even put some fine scratches on the bolster just by polishing and oiling it. I reckon even the oiled paper in the tube is capable of marking it.
It is an amazing, unique knife but I'm just not using or displaying it. I will also be listing it on eBay so get in quick.
Payment: PP G&S or direct bank transfer. SOLD for $490 on another site (These are for sale up to $800 online)
Postage: Free to anywhere in the world, with tracking and signature on delivery. Let me know if you want it insured (which I'd strongly recommend), or upgraded to super-fast shipping and I can give you a quote.
NOTE: I think some people are quite anxious about knives being shipped to or from overseas. Just FYI, I've never had a problem posting gear to people from here in Australia. Australia Post usually uses EMS as its international courier service.
