This is a user in need of a good home. Has been carried, used, sharpened, cleaned, and oiled.
The edge has been thinned out some and comes sharp.
Pull is a strong 7 or 8, but by no means a nail breaker. Smooth action with authoritative snap.
Blade has a natural patina forming and the covers have darkened up noticeably with use and carry. Has a couple sharpening scuffs.
Fit and finish is very good on this one. Blade sits almost dead center, zero play. No gaps or cracks. Backspring is flush in the closed, low at the halfstop, and just the tiniest bit low in the open.
Bolsters and shield are scratched and scuffed from carry.
There is a small streak of bright shiny discoloration by the shield which I'm guessing is glue? Came this way from the factory, can't be felt with a fingernail.
There is a very small pepper spot on the spine of the knife. Also as a result of humid southern summer pocket carry, a couple rust spots on the inside of the backspring as pictured. I scrubbed them with mineral oil and a pipecleaner to neutralize them.
Comes with original tube and wax paper.
