This knife has ONLY been used one time. The edge has also NEVER been sharpened other than via the proper usage of a ceramic stropping rod.
The handle is made from the original micarta scales, but has vertical grooves cut evenly along the entire length of both scales. These factory grooves were implemented by Jerry Busse.

As the pictures detail, there is only some very slight wear on both sides of the coating in the "sweet spot" of the blade. This was done via typical usage during chopping of natural wood (trees). Blade has also been oiled and protected over the years with absolutely NO damage or wear other than the small "sweet spot" coating wear... otherwise the knife and sheath are in PRISTINE condition.
