Up for sale is a pouch style pocket sheath made from hard tempered hermann oak leather. Measures 6.4" tall from the centerline *not counting the welt) with a 1.6" opening. I would say it can fit a nice range of medium handled knives provided the handles aren't too fat (anywhere from 7.25 overall length to around 8.25"). Flat long belt loop acts like a swivel and will maintain the angle you pitch it at. The leather surface has now been burnished.

To add to OP, the sheath should fit most knives with an overall length of anywhere from 7.8-8.8 inches. Provided the handle isn't too fat.
