Carey, I went and looked, yes I could add a clip attached to the bolster, pointing towards the scales on the right side.

So the clip would be on the opposite side from the thumbstud, correct? Tip pointed down?

A week later and I'll give bump to this thread and a mini review of my experience.

I Said the "I'll take it" on a Friday night. I had a reply waiting Saturday morning and all the followup conversations were very prompt and direct.
I paid through PayPal and the knife was shipped out on that following Monday. The knife was waiting for me when I got home from work on Wednesday.
The knife that I received appears to be the exact knife in this post and is of high quality materials and craftsmanship.

I couldn't be happier with what I payed, the customer service, and the knife that I received and give a double thumbs up for Aland.
