This is a catch and release for me. I just received it a few days ago and while it’s a beautiful and outstanding knife, it’s just a little large for my tastes. I kinda knew that going in but wanted to give it a shot. The knife is in great condition but does have some minor wear marks on the clip. There is also a very tiny imperfection in the milling on the lock side. In the last photo in the album it’s just to the NW of the pivot. It’s hard to see even under the right light. I had to work to get it to show up in the photo. Basically you’ll never notice it unless you looking for it. Lock up in pretty early (I don’t like quoting a %) and secure. Blade is centered and has been sharpened by the previous owner. Nice job though. The action on this GM5 is really nice. The detent, which can be an issue on the GM5, is just right IMO. Not overly strong but also not light like some examples of this knife. It flips very well and will almost drop shut. Needs just a little jiggle.
I’m pricing this as a user, not a shelf queen due to the clip wear and sharpening. I believe my price is fair but not a lot of these out there to compare but feel free to discuss with me. Other than that, it’s a beautiful knife that looks amazing with great action.
