Email replied with answers to your questions, the gist of them were:

Are there half stops on the blades? The main blade has no half stop, while the smaller two blades both have half stops.
Are there any blade play? No blade play on any of the three blades
Are the blades centered? The main blade is centered, from the fit it can't help but be so.

and as you noted this has been carried, I have brush finished the bolsters and the blades are far sharper than when they arrived, carried but cared for. The only reason for selling is to fund the 'next' knife, because a collector I'm not.
