This is a great little knife fresh from my shop. Hope you like it. It is a Great!! Value.

Blade: 154CM 3.0 in. tip to bolsters. o/a 7.0. thickness is .130. Grinds are all clean crisp and symetrical. The tang is tapered dead center as well. Heat treating is done by me in my Evenheat furnace and is cryo treated as well with a double 2 hr temper. It has a 1200 grit satin finish.VERY!! SHARP!!

Bolsters are nickel silver pinned and soldered very cleanly and I carved a groove for added grip.

Handle is of desert ironwood w/ivory accents, mosaic pins, lanyard hole, and thin red fiber liners. The handle has a gentle swell for comfort and has near perfect symetry. This ironwood is from a statue I found at a Goodwill store and is very dry from sitting on someones mantle for who knows how long. It is a very nice piece.

The sheath is also made by me and is customized to fit the knife with a snap fit that securely holds the knife yet is easy to withdraw.

hope you all like it. I am asking $SOLD including shipping conus. I can accept paypal or money order. Thank you.

Beautiful knife Alan. Good to see you here.
I had the pleasure of meeting you at the Eugene show about 7 or 8 years ago. IIRC, you won the New Knife Maker award.

This knife is going to make someone very happy.

That is a beautiful knife. Great job!
Too bad i'm broke at the moment.
Good luck with the sale.

Alan:

Gorgeous knife and worth every penny!!

As the owner of one of Alan's B&T knives which is somewhat similar to this beauty I can tell you that this is a bargain. The quality and attention to detail on both Alan's knives and sheaths is impeccable.

Another home run Alan.

Thanks jvan, for the good words.

O.K., time to fess up. I bought this knife. And i just now picked it up from 'my' USA post office.
Absolutely First Rate ! It's all that the pictures show and more. The Desert Ironwood is more alive with gold high-lights than is captured in Alan's pictures. But most impressive and most pleasing of all is the in-hand feel. It's a substantial knife with a bit of weight to it for it's size but it melts into my hand with perfect balance giving the precision of a scalpel.
I could go on with more about the knife and the excellent sheath but instead i'll just say: if you see an available Alan Warren knife that seems right for you, Buy It. You will be extremely pleased and very impressed, just like i am now. And, the big smile it puts on your face is just the beginning of the enjoyment that it will bring you.
Thanks Alan. You are a Great Knifemaker.
