Up for sale is my Grimsmo Norseman, #4588, the COA states this version is from Feb., 2021. I am the second owner, I, just like the first owner have never carried or used this knife. It remains in mint condition, drop shut action, original blade edge......at least that's what the seller said. But the edge needed some work, (when I initially received the knife from the original owner I checked the action and stuck it in the safe and didn't look at under magnification).
It was then sold but the original buyer was unhappy with the edge, and returned it.....I put up no argument and when I took redelivery, I examined the edge with my magnifying lamp. The modified tanto point had a miniscule chip, and the front edge needed sharpening....I sent it off to Nick at TackSharp, and got it back a few days ago. The entire edge, recurve and tanto had been sharpened, and in doing so the chip is now gone and the blade is stupid sharp......Wanted to make sure everyone knew about the aborted first sale and how the issues had been rectified.
The blade is dead centered and the lockup is early with no stick or bladen play side vertically or horizontally.
It will reach you with everything that the Grimsmo Bros. includes in the package: original cardboard shipping box, Pelican like storage case with all the stickers, pivot oil, T8 wrench, etc.
All the photos were taken by me today and accurately reflect the condition of the knife.

-Custom machined 17-4PH H900 pivot and pivot screw hardened to 45HRC.
-Si3N4 detent ball - ground with a flat top for extra smoothness

-Custom machined delrin bearing cages with Si3N4 ceramic balls.
