One of two bolster-lock Sanjos with amber jigged bone inlays made by French cutler Guy Poggetti.
Essentially a titanium frame lock, the hand cut bone inlays were polished to a high sheen and integrated in to the handle.
Backspacer is lightning strike CF.
Blade is made from a rarely seen German low alloy- 115W8. Manufactured by Lohmann-Stahl to the specifications of Achim Wirtz.
As you can see, it allows for a very nice hamon.
Condition: The handle is in excellent condition. Pocket clip shows a couple tiny scuffs by the screws at the right angle, otherwise nothing jumps out.
The blade shows the beginnings of some light patina in spots.
If viewed from a certain angle you can see some scratching on the flats from the blade making contact with the inside of the Ti frame. This happened when I was reassembling it after adjusting the pivot.
It’s not readily noticeable- you have to angle it right and look for it.
Pricing reflects this boo-boo.
Guy makes front flippers pretty much exclusively and they are by far my favorite front flippers. The detent is crisp and the blade pops out. Drop shut action. I think they feel great.
Includes zip pouch.
Not interested in trades for this one (unless you have an XL Rosie).
Asking $old OBRO.
My video showing the knife is here: https://jmp.sh/JCYtndUl
