Its the second time I make a handle like this in my entire career and the result is a very cool old school looking two tone color.
180mm (about 7") long gyuto with a chisel ground, sellectivelly hardened, kuro uchi finished 1095 steel blade. The octagon handle is charred cherry wood (yakisugi finish). US$ 150.00 plus US$ 20.00 for shipping most everywhere.
