This is a custom made self-defense Pocket Spike. It is based on the design and function of the yawara, an ancient Japanese fighting/self-defense tool. Handmade from a 19th century butchers honing steel. Shows age and previous use with some genuine patina remaining. Measures 6 5/8", not including the stainless steel split ring and coyote brown 550 para-cord lanyard strap. It is solid steel. Hand carved divoted design. Comes with a custom wet-formed leather slip sheath. Great defense tool in an emergency situation. Perfect for carrying in a pocket, purse or handbag. Handmade so no two are exactly alike.
