This knife was handmade by a knifemaker from Jackson County, Mississippi. I purchased the knife several years ago from the local feed store that was selling some of Fisher's knives on consignment. Unfortunately, the only information I got was the last name and the fact that the blade was from a sawmill blade. The maker's mark is barely visible in two of the photos of the blade. It's fish on the blade near the handle and appears to have been made with an engraver. OAL is 8&3/4" while the spine of the blade is 3&3/4" long, but because of the angled scales and the upswept blade, the cutting edge is actually 4&3/4". One of the scales is slightly separated from the blade (see photos), but you can tell from the expoxy that it came that way. And one photo shows what looks like a scratch on the blade, but you can see from the other photos that there's no scratch! The included sheath came with the knife and is obviously handmade for this knife. I'm asking $75 shipped PayPal G&S.
