New and never used. Great tool for wet-forming, shaping, smoothing and burnishing leather. Measures 5 3/16" total length. I use a similar one for most of my wet-forming leather projects and find it gives great results with sharp, well defined, smooth flowing lines. Easy to use with a thumb ramp built in for better control. The metal part of the tool is made from reclaimed 19th century cutlery steel. The metal shows age with some patina. The handle is solid cocobolo wood with a very comfortable sculpted design. Excellent for leather working. Would make a great Father's Day gift.
