Good evening friends, tonight I am offering this stainless short sword I've been working away at. This short sword was tested on deadfall for chopping and piercing once it neared its final geometry. While I cannot vouch for its dueling/fencing capacity (since I know little if anything about this skill), I can at least affirm it is tough, sharp, and fun. Slices printer paper despite a robust edge grind. Hard use is going to mean hard contact with wood or bone, but not chopping cinder blocks, body armor or rebar in half.

Specs
Steel: AEB-L, 59 RC, designed by me, plasma cut and heat treated by Jarod Todd, ground, finished and handled by me in my shop

Geometry: Double ground convex grind

Overall Length: 22"
Cutting Edge Length: 15 1/4"

Weight: 1 lb, 9.5 oz

Balance point: Maker's mark

Handle: Green and grey laminated natural wood (Frogblanks) 220 grit finish for grip, shown unoiled but I recommend protecting with oil. I can apply mineral oil or butcher's block conditioner if desired or leave bare for you to apply your own. Oil not only protects, but causes the wood grain to darken, and pop with significantly more contrast.

Sheath: Black Boltaron pancake sheath included, compatible with Tek-Lock near the handle and Molle along the sides

Price is expired, payable via itemized PayPal invoice, which I will send to your email address. Includes tracked and insured expedited North America shipping. I will ship internationally at buyer's expense and liability. First "I'll take it" with comms gets priority. My email address is in my sig if you turn your phone sideways.

Thanks for looking!

That does indeed look like it would be some major fun to hack and chop away at a menacing deadfall. Short work I suspect. Too cool!
