High-carbon steel (5160) harpoon-style knife hand forged in coal. Patagonian deer horn handle, antique coin and leather bolster with coin pommel. Filework on the spine. Includes a hand-crafted leather sheath with a belt hoop. The blade was heat-treated in oil and hand sanded to 1000 grit. Total length: 11.1 inches, blade 6.75 inches, spine width at heel .4mm.

Just to clarify - this knife is still available! I was asked a question about the tang that perhaps is best shared here in case others wonder the same thing. This knife has a full length tang in the sense that it goes all the way through the handle (passing through the middle of the bolster) and out the back to hold the coin pommel in place. This is a traditional way Criollo knives are made here in Argentina.
