SOLD A 15" 22 ounce Silver Mounted Ang Khola, by Kumar. ~2004 production, so pre-UB marked.
Many HI knives have been sold with _silver metal_ fittings (as found on the chape of this knife's scabbard), but they are not necessarily silver mounted. This model has real silver on the bolster and buttcap that will tarnish and costs accordingly, but looks amazing. This one has a beautifully hand-carved buffalo horn handle with full peened tang.
Carved handled AK's are uncommon, and silver-mounted ones more so. Most 15" AK's ran 19-20 oz. so this is slightly heavier.
Unusually smooth finish black buffalo-hide scabbard, with silver metal chape, and karda and chakma companion knives.
Uncarried, unused and unsharpened, as sold to me direct by Uncle Bill 10 years ago.
