Hesitantly kicking a couple excellent folders that I’ve purchased in the last few weeks out of my edc rotation to make room for a couple new fixed blades. Both of these have been lightly carried (less than 3 weeks), and used very sparingly (seriously, just a few baggies & a little plastic wrap). Both have the factory edge intact & VERY sharp, and include original packaging. Please PM any questions or requests. All prices are PP G&S, and include USPS priority shipping CONUS

Maxamet PM2 - I purchased this from BHQ about 2 weeks ago. Outstanding action on this one. Flicks like butter, drops shut, and is well centered. In fact, aside from the clip being switched for tip up carry, I can see no signs of use/wear whatsoever. The only imperfection I can note at all is a faint blemish/mark in the steel up near the spine. It’s not a stain or discoloration, just doesn’t perfectly blend in with the rest of the stonewash (I received it like that, and it didn’t bother me at all). Other than that, it’s probably the most perfect PM2 I’ve ever owned.

Hinderer Firetac - Spearpoint in 20CV. Purchased as LNIB from a forum member here just a few weeks ago whom I respect very much, and consider quite knowledgeable. I’ve carried it for about 10 days. The black G10 scale has a small area where the blackness isn’t exactly as black as the rest (see pic). Great action with thumbdisc, and it has probably the sweetest unlock/close of any framelock I’ve had. Zero lockstick, effortless disengagement, and closes with a hydraulic feel rather than a fall shut type of situation (smooth & safe). I’m VERY impressed with the Firetac, but only have room for one RHK, and after much deliberation, I’m going to hang on to my skinny slicer instead.

Have a most excellent Fathers’ Day BF! I always appreciate your time

That’s a tempting offer. Thank you, but I’m really looking for cash on this one (unless it was a trade too sweet to pass up)

Funds received Steve. Thanks for being so on point with everything. The PM2 is officially all yours! I’m very stoked to have connected you with a grail of yours on Father’s Day. Very cool! :) Wishing you a most enjoyable day

How is the detent on Firetac? I’ve had one so loose it fell out, and another so stiff you couldn’t flick open. Trying to find happy medium.
This one’s detent is dialed in pretty well. It doesn’t shake open, and flicks nicely while allowing you to ‘load’ your thumb on the disc just a little, so you can choose to either roll it open or flick it with authority. This one just sold, but I’d encourage you to not give up on your search for that happy medium, as IMO, there’s nothing quite like a well dialed in Firetac or XM. As you might have guessed though, I’m a little biased toward RHK :) Have a great Father’s Day

All sold.
Thanks so much gentlemen! You’re both a pleasure to transact with.
..and as always, thank you BF
