I am the original owner of this knife and it has never been used to cut nor has it been carried, only handled and flipped. The factory edge is intact and sharp, however, the knife has been disassembled using Wiha bits on several occasions.
The knife is being sold as shown with RHK copper standoffs and natural micarta scale, which both show minor patina from being handled. The original titanium standoffs and tri-way bearings/washers are included, but not the original G10 scale as I no longer have it. Original box, builders card and sticker are included as well.
This XM-18 has a fairly strong detent, but it flips hard, lock up is rock solid with zero play, and blade is perfectly centered. The action is completely drop shut with the currently installed Skiff ceramic bearings.
I would like to note that no loctite has been used on the hardware and any blemishes in the stonewash finish were there from the factory. Also important to note, the plunge lines on this example are somewhat asymmetrical. I reached out to RHK regarding this, providing detailed pictures, and was told that this was completely acceptable by their standards.
With the additional parts, I have just over $550 invested. Taking into consideration the absent original scale and the knife’s unused condition, I am asking $old
