My Hinterland field/combat model with a 6" blade, ground from Crucible's Cru-Forge V high carbon steel. This a vanadium-modified steel that compares closely with 52100, with the addition of vanadium for extra wear resistance. It holds an edge better than O-1 and is very tough as well.

Thickness at the spine is @ .240", tang is tapered to @ .160" with "tipless" notched glass breaker pommel. The tang is also drilled with a single row of holes to give more dynamic balance, this design chops very well for it's size without feeling like a boat anchor.
I hand sanded this one to 320 grit and made the scales removeable with 8-32 torx head screws with 1/4" threaded inserts that go through the tang and into counter-bored holes in the back of the scales.
This blade will require maintenence to prevent rust/patina, perfect for guys who like to play with finishes or patinas.

Specs:
11-1/8" overall, .240" thick Cru-Forge V vanadium-modified carbon steel
6" blade, 1-1/2" wide, full flat grind with tapered tang, spine is rounded forward of the thumb ramp
Removeable black/green 2x2 G10 scales
Black .080" Kydex sheath, Tek Lok/Molle Lok compatible
Comes with .093" (heavy) QD carry clip, works for belt carry and numerous other carry modes

SOLD-Price is 250.00 plus shipping/insurance
Discount for active duty U.S. military/LE, please contact me for details

Is there a place you can exchange them for cash? Do they take dogs and cats too?:)
