Hoback Kwaiback MK3 midtech - This knife here is from the initial run when Jake first released his midtechs. I believe roughly 300 of these were made and have long been sold out/hard to find/discontinued. These knives feel very much like a custom, all with the fit and finish done by Jake Hoback himself and includes the technology seen in his custom work: bearing pivot system and Hoback Rolling Detent (HRD) System. The overall stonewash finish on the titanium handles and blade is gorgeous and will hide wear well. Very sharp S35VN kwaiken style blade sits fully flush within a titanium frame lock handle. Second owner, but hard to find any marks of use on this one. Early, solid lock up. This is not the current version of kwaiback midtech that can be found at most online retailers. This model is discontinued and will not be made again.
