I am selling my Shobu Fighter Tanto.
It's a Japanese inspired design, and sold by Hung Shing True Sharp (HSTS).

Specs:
T10 Forge Folded, and clay tempered
10" cutting edge
Shobu geometry, heavy on the niku (meat) or in otherwords the amount of metal on the sides.
Sold non sharp, dulled slightly as it was going to be used for display purposes.
Has been hand polished by me to 3000 grit, and sits in a smokey mirror polish (not so much smokey but not exactly a true mirror, that would require taking it to approximately 30,000 grit). There are a few scratches which to me would sacrifice too much metal to remove, so I left them and covered them up as I could.
Handle is wrapped in cotton ito, and has very very high quality samegawa or rayskin (Namikawa #1 samegawa)
Very large emperor nodes (.33" emperor node), and large nodes overall.
No sheath is included.

Asking Sold USA. I hate to sell this as it's my favorite tanto but phone bill needs to be paid and Christmas left me short changed after some car repairs, and gifts.

That's Ricky's (Hung Shing True Sharp owner, along with his partner) Shobu Fighter that is being reviewed by TomK (one of the owner's of Tried and True armory, also the only place to source Angus Trim). I know Ricky personally and we met several times to cut traditional tatami omote and wara mats. It's a great little tanto, packs a serious punch.
Mine differs in that I replace the samegawa with very very high quality from Namikawa Hebei No. 1 Samegawa (Japanese provider of traditional Japanese materials for katana, tanto, wakizashi, etc).

To anyone who buys the tanto:
The wrap however is so-so quality cotton, I would be happy to redo the itomaki complete with hishigami and done traditionally (minus the traditional end knot for obvious tactical reasons free of charge just pay for the ito which would be something like $10-$15 for silk (8 feet to be safe would more than suffice) and would require about 1 week of time after payment clears.
This can be done in cotton, or silk from Japan. I personally would recommend silk, much more durable and gives better grip but isn't as comfortable as cotton. Will also offer a nice luster to the handle, and will make the beautiful samegawa stand out more.

Leather would not be possible as I would have to source thinner than usual leather due to the width of the handle, not to mention it would be a hazard as when leather is wet it becomes slipper. With no guard it could be dangerous, so I would have to object to that. (Also it's a tactical knife, so leather=not exactly a good idea).
