Here's a nice little guardless hunter I have for sale. This is really nice and light in hand. It's compact but quite durable. There is a nice contour to the handle and I find it very comfortable in hand. This is a through tang, bolted together with hidden pins through every piece. Extremely strong construction.

Specs:
Hand forged from 1075 steel, clay quenched and etched
3 3/4" blade, 8 1/8" overall, .190" thick at the ricasso w/ full distal taper
Rounded spine and ricasso edge for comfort
Filed, rounded thumb grip
Damascus fluted collars with damascus coined spacer
Premium Curly Hard Maple handle, stained black and oil finished
Damascus Bolt cover

The knife will come with a black lined and hand tooled sheath, custom made for this knife by master sheath maker Claude Scott. It's on the way to Claude now. I will add pics of sheath when it's finished. Padded zipper case and micro fiber towel will also be included.

Price is $625 *SOLD*shipped to the US. International buyers must pay actual shipping cost. I accept paypal, check or money order. Funds must clear prior to shipping.

That's a Beauty John. Quintessential Doyle hunter.

I keep coming back and I will take it. Please send me your Paypal. Really sweet

I had to run a few errands in town and Im just checking back in on this thread.

I sure do appreciate the comment and the interest. Unfortunately someone beat you to it by just a few minutes. He posted an interest in a thread in the Custom and Handmade subforum today at 12:26 PM here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1395049-Forged-Hunter-dressed-in-black

Then went on to send me a PM 2 minutes later at 12:28 PM where he claimed it. So by right, it should go to him first. He hasn't paid yet, though he said he would and I think he will, but I'm obviously giving you first shot at seconds if something falls through. If you would like to discuss building a similar piece for the same price, I'm more than happy to do that. Just shoot me an email at jdoyleknives AT gmail DOT com

It went pretty fast and I hate informing someone that they missed out by just a few minutes. Really sorry about that.

This is sold. I appreciate the comments and the interest. Thanks guys.

I love this, classic and clean work! I would have been tempted and I can't afford it;)
