Just received this amazing knife from JJ Smith. It's a little thin behind the edge for my taste. Passing it on at a savings to you.

Reply to thread to claim. I'll do my best to honor the first claimer, but ultimately I will sell to whomever I want.
No other cash offers will be entertained at this point, unless you want to pay more.
I am open to trades if it's a GEC like 86 Angus jack or 15 or 77 Barlow, or American made small fixed blade, with cash either way is ok. Just send me a pm or request I contact you by replying below. Please don't totally blow up the thread.
Ok, on to the meat and taters! Mr. Smith made this knife from 1/8" stock 52100 steel. He says it's 60Rc. This knife is very slicey at .015" behind the edge and at the tip. Not too delicate though, at just .125" in from the edge, the thickness is .025". Handle is ironwood, micarta, brass.
Here are some more pics. There are some marks from the sheath and from JJ's final handling, which I don't really blame him for, it's got to be tough to leave the blade perfect after hand finishing it to 1000 grit. That said, the sheath is totally spot on for fit and finish and it is not making any unnecessary contact with the blade.
