Hey guys,
Here's a fun little one-off blade just off my bench. It's a handy little Kiridashi with beautiful stabilized curly Koa and K390 at high hardness for outstanding edge holding. The trade off of the high hardness is low toughness. I'll make a little leather sheath for it in the next day or two.
SPECS:
OAL: 7.5"
BLADE: 2.5" long, 0.75" wide. It has been hand sanded to 400 grit. The grind is full flat with some convex and the edge is down to 0.008" before sharpening.
STEEL: 0.098" K390 carbon steel heat treated to RC67-68.
HANDLE: Stabilized Curly Koa with an epoxy puck ferrule.
SHEATH: Pouch style leather sheath included.
Price: $SOLD Shipped CONUS
international buyers welcome, shipping extra.
Paypal, checks or money orders accepted.
Post "I'll take it" here in this thread and then PM or email me for arrangements.
Comments/Questions/Critiques welcome.
Thanks for looking!
