This is a catch and release, arrived today, but it was a tad thicker blade than I had envisioned.
I added a paracord wrap and now it fits more comfortably in the hand, that could be epoxied if the next guy/gal decides they like it, or just removed and left plain.
The leather sheath didn't really retain the knife prior to adding the paracord, but now it makes it so you could pocket carry if you wanted to.
Rough forging texture along the upper sides and spine, here's some information from the Kanetsune website, this knife is no longer in production that I am aware of;
The blade is made from Japanese Traditional high carbon steel, Shirogami (White Steel) made by Hitachi Metals. Ltd. Shirogami steel is a refined carbon steel ...
The knife comes with a small leather pouch.
knife is about 6 1/2" overall
Blade is about 2 1/2" long and about 3.4mm thick at the spine

Here are some images taken tonight, edge is very sharp and the point is lancet like!
