I'd like to sell this KME system. This is a used but well loved kit. I've listed the contents and condition of each item below. Tons of accessories. Please read the whole thread. Ships in the hard case. Bonus! The hard case is wearing a fabulous Metallica sticker collection! (I can remove the stickers if you don't want them). SOLD US customers only. PayPaly G&S only. KME with the wooden base and the following stones:
50 grit--still cuts, but this is a well used stone
140 grit --gently used. I recently replaced this.
300 grit--gently used. I recently replaced this.
600 grit--used but in good condition
1500 grit--used but in good condition
The DMT diamond stones have each been used on two knives:
Ultra coarse
Coarse
Fine
Extra fine
Hard Arkansas Stone--used once, but I don't recall exactly which stone this is.
The strops are in overall good condition, but have seen a lot of use.
4 micron (The strop is loaded well. The bottle is about half full.)
0.5 micron (The strop is loaded well. The bottle is about half full.)
0.1 micron (The strop is loaded well, but it's hard to tell how much is left in the bottle).
Lapping Films
Glass platen for 1 micron. Includes one used and one unused film
Glass platen for 6 micron. Includes one used and one unused film
2 additional glass platens with no available films.
Tapered Diamond Rod for Serrated Blades (used once)
Convexing guide rod with stop collar
Pen knife jaws
You may notice in the above photo that the tension knob on the back of the main spring was missing. I have since obtained a replacement.
