Hi,
I made one knife on a 1x30 grinder and really enjoyed it. Wanted to get into this as a hobby and started accumulating tools and materials. I actually never got to make a second knife and I’m now focusing on working with leather instead. Therefore I’d like to sell all my knife making equipment, preferably as a package. I’m located in Charleston, SC, pickup would be required.
The package consists of:
- TW90 grinder with flat platen, 10” smooth wheel, 5” serrated wheel, small wheel attachment, surface grinder attachment, powerful 220V single phase version
- 9” disk grinder, flat and beveled disc, variable speed, runs both directions, adjustable tool rest, 220V single phase motor
- 93 pcs. new 2x72 belts, grit 36-400, various flex versions including gator belts
- cool mist system for the grinder
- 48” radius platen and water hill platen from Nathan Carothers
- carbide file guide, broach, bolster holder, center scribe
- bubble jig system
- heat treat foil
- Alev forge sanding sticks and hand sanding jig
- knife makers vise for handle shaping
- handle material, various sizes of wood, micarta, spacer material…
- various metals, wrought iron and steel
- books
