***SOLD***

A knifemaking library in a box -- 10 books -- many by and about the very best makers ever. All books in great condition.

Asking $100 total - PayPal only, fee included; USPS Priority Mail shipping included - CONUS only.

Living on the Edge - the Loveless Legend by Al Williams - photos by Jim Weyer -- hardback, 128 pages -- a vital book for anyone wanting to make Loveless pattern knives - book is filled with photos of his knives, often 2 or 3 a page -- the important part is that they are all shot flat against a 1/4" grid (with 1" bold grid), making each photo a reference pattern to work from.

How to Make Knives by Robert W Loveless and Richard W Barney - softback, 182 pages -- Loveless shows how he does it.

$50 Knife Shop - Wayne Goddard -- softback, 156 pages -- how to start forging knives on the cheap and cobble together equipment out of scraps.

The Wonder of Knifemaking - Master Smith Wayne Goddard Answers All Your Questions by Wayne Goddard -- softback, 158 pages - great book covering just about everything - from very basic to fairly advanced - the subtitle basically says it all.

How to Make Folding Knives - A Step-By-Step How-To by Ron Lake, Frank Centofante, and Wayne Clay - softback, 190 pages -- Ron Lake, Frank Centofante, and Wayne Clay each have a separate section in which they show you how they make a lockback folder. A must have book if you're even vaguely interested in making lockbacks.

How to Make The Basic Scagel Slipjoint Folder - A Step-By-Step How-To by Jerry Van Eizenga - softback, 28 pages (8 1/2"x11") - just what it says, with patterns

Knifemaking - A Complete Guide To Crafting Knives, Handles & Sheaths by Bo Bergman - softback, 152 pages -- This is probably the best book in existence on making Scandinavian style knives and sheaths of many different styles. Note: does not cover blade making (the assumption being that you got your blade from a bladesmith, which you now want to turn into a knife - this is standard for many Scandi makers).

Knife Talk - The Art & Science of Knifemaking by Ed Fowler - softback, 158 pages -- a walk thru Ed's design philosophy and his pursuit of the highest performance knife possible.

Master of the Forge - William F Moran, Jr and His Classic Blades by B.R. Hughes and C. Houston Price - hardback, 214 pages -- not a book about knifemaking, but a history of Moran and a showcase for his magnificent blades.

Knifecraft by Sid Latham - hardback (dustcover shows wear and tear but book itself is near perfect), 240 pages -- and oldie but goodie - the highlight to me is the section giving a step by step of George Herron making one of his lockback folders and one of his tapered tang hunting knives.
