This is a heavy duty working knife with a solid construction. The tang of this knife goes all the way through with a threaded rod welded to the end. The brass pommel is drilled and tapped, so that the entire handle is securely sandwiched together.
The sheath is made in the traditional Scandinavian style. Leather is molded around a wooden insert. The knife is firmly held in place by the friction of the leather tight around the handle on the upper part of the sheath.
