So I woke up this morning with this voice in my head head telling me that I need to pass this on to someone who will use it. Chased this guy for awhile but I just can’t bring myself to use it. I’ve carried it a handful of times but only around the house and I’ve flipped it on multiple occasions. It’s a Gen 4 Batch 3 with a birthdate of 10/6/2020. Second owner, however I bought it from the first guy right after its birthdate and he claimed to have only flipped it and not carried it let alone used it. I haven’t cut with it either. Perfect centering and fast lockup. Drops shut with more smoothness than I’ve experienced so far. Honestly an absolute pleasure to deploy, hold, and close. By far the nicest knife I’ve owned but I’m not going to carry it and in my opinion these Koenigs should be passed on if they’re not making it into the rotation. Paid $850 for this guy SV $Old. In the name of full disclosure, while taking pictures of this I noticed a small hairline scratch on the polished flats part of the blade that doesn’t even catch the nail. Not sure how that happened and all I can think is that it happened in the pocket although I’m religious about not carrying anything in my knife pocket. Otherwise I’d be asking for what I paid because honestly this will break my heart to let go.
