OAL: 8 1/2"
Tip - to - Handle: 4"
Cutting edge: 3 7/8"

The glue up went without a hitch.

Wood sealed with Birchwood Casey Sealer Filler, and finished with Tru Oil

The plunge lines are slightly mis-matched:

There are a few minor j-hooks and scratches on the bevels. This is just because I get in too much of a hurry sometimes:

The edges of my tangs are never as pretty as the other parts:

The stitching doesn't exactly follow the marks, but a good sheath other than that:

$80 ships it via Priority Mail in USA. $6 more gets it to Canada. No other destinations, please.

Edit: the first unconditional "I'll take it" gets it.

I am calling it "kompakt" because I think it is about 3/4" shorter than the original. I was shooting to replicate the original, but came up short. Can't hurt anything, because that just .means it is lighter and easier to carry.

Forgot to mention, H.T. by Paul Bos, for 60 R.C.

Flat bevels.

Cbach, it's A2 hardened to 60. Another nice one Red! I am going to let someone else have a chance for this one.

Thanks for the nice words, guys.

I can't seem to reply to PMs right now, but I received a couple of questions by way of PM. Here are the answers: trades are tempting, but I need cash right now. The other question was about grinder vs files. This knife was done with files and a filing jig. Thanks for asking.

Now SOLD. Thanks for looking, everybody. I hated to sell this one, because it felt so perfect in hand. I will surely make more of these in the future

I now have a big belly skinner for sale on another thread.
