Please read carefully, this is a project knife.
This is a great little knife, looks a little like an Arius. Really exceptional ergos, at least in my hand.
I deleted the flipper tab, and in a moment of genius got a phone call, was distracted, and took the Dremel to the lock face by mistake for just long enough to create lock rock. The video in the link below shows the lock rock, it's minimal and you're better off turning up the volume and listening than trying to see it. One of the washers also lost a bearing. Not my finest moment in knife alterations, to say the least!
So, you should see this as either buying a cool knife with slight lock rock that could probably use a new washer at some point, OR as a set of scales and screws, with a free damaged blade thrown in. Honestly I like this knife enough that I don't want to think about how stupid I was every time I carry it, so I'm ordering another, but the knife is totally safe in terms of lockup.
For those of you with the non-titanium D2 steel models, I do not know whether your blade will drop into these scales perfectly as I have only owned this model. Kubey support has been pretty responsive if you want to ask.
