New in box, have never been used or sharpened. Photo is of actual knives being sold. Gen 1 product. Comes in original black Spyderco box.

$23 each, shipped, USPS w/ tracking. PayPal biz fee included. Paypal only. CONUS ONLY. Must be 18 years of age or more. No trades please.

Product Description

It attaches to your keychain and is nearly as small as your car keys. Spyderco’s smallest lightweight knife is the Ladybug.

The hollow ground blade comes in a SpyderEdge serrated blade. This modified clip-point blade style is matched up with a red, lightweight handle of fiberglass-reinforced nylon resin making the entire knife weigh only 0.6 of an ounce (16.4 grams). The LBK doesn’t have a clip but rather a lanyard hole for attachment to a keychain or lanyard.

The precision made Ladybug packs tremendous cutting power and can take on both fine and substantial cutting tasks.

Spyderco: Dragonfly Classic – AUS-8 Plain Blade, Black FRN Handles

Very good, nearly mint condition. The cutting edge retains the original factory sharpening.
A scratch can be found parallel and close to the blade on the right side; otherwise the knife is mint.

Photos below are of actual knife being sold.

$35.00, shipped, USPS w/ tracking. PayPal biz fee included, Paypal only. CONUS ONLY. Must be 18 years of age or more. No trades please.

Design features of this Dragonfly 1 retained in the current Dragonfly
* mid-sized blade
* ergonomic handle along with a front-finger choil and spine shape
* same blade-to-handle geometry and leveraging points which make the Dragonfly cut and feel like a much larger knife when in the hand,
* a high-performance flat-grind.

Classic features include:
* a one piece molded right scale that includes a sturdy clip,
* textured scales,
* smooth surfaced choil and spine,
* a pinned handle construction.
* The blade is AUS-8 which takes a sharp edge and is a solid performer.

The position of the enlarged Spyderco Round Opening Hole in relation to the pivot leads to smooth opening and the FRN (fiberglass reinforce nylon) handle fits the hand ergonomically with a series of grip angles and leveraging spots.

• Cutting Edge: 1-7/8" (48 mm)
• Blade Thickness: 3/32" (2.5 mm)
• Overall Length: 5-7/16" (138 mm)

Sorry, I just realized what CONUS stands for. I'm a new user, and Canadian - you'll have to forgive my ignorance!

Hello HaidaGwaiian,
Maybe mail to your location in Canada will not be prohibitively expensive and we can share the increased cost?

The steel of the generation1 Red Ladybug is uncertain to me so I did not list it. The stamps on the ricasso says SPYDERCO on the left and Seki Japan on the right, but that is all.

My guess is that it is AUS8 given what Spyderco was producing at that time and that it is almost certainly a stainless. AUS8 as produced by Spyderco takes a sharp edge and is a solid performing steel.

HaidaGwaiian if you add your email address to your account we can confer.

Best,
Distelfink
