Hello all... a superb custom fixed blade here that I'm selling under my purchase cost. Bought this last winter (along with more I will post soon) with the idea of expanding my collection. I will admit, I'm no expert with regard to custom fixed blades so please look at the pics and if you have any questions, please contact me and I'll be glad to help answer your question. Lamont Coombs Loveless Inspired Drop Point Hunter w/sheath - SOLD - No fees and free priority shipping
Bought this from another collector, not through BF. This is an absolutely stunning knife made by Lamont Coombs, a remarkably talented maker. This knife is a Loveless-inspired drop-point hunter... the balance and feel is fantastic. This has never been used by me and maybe just to cut a couple pieces of paper by the previous owner. I have stored this knife and sheath carefully since purchase. Specifications follow, and where I am unsure I have said so. Concerning condition, there are just a few fine scratches on the stainless probably from sheathing and re-sheathing the knife. The matching sheath is also exquisitely made by Mr. Coombs.
Specifications:
- Flat Ground from 1/8" 154-CM Stainless (maybe ATS-34, but pretty sure 154-CM)
- 600 grit Hand Rub Finish
- 416 Stainless Guard and Pins
- Stabilized Ironwood Burl Scales
- 4" blade (tip to guard) 3-1/2" of cutting edge
- 8-5/8" OAL
